This is a short step by step guide to setting up a home indoor kitchen compost bin for free. I salvaged an old large plant pot, collected worms from the curb after rain, shredded some old newsprint, cardboard and dry leaves, sprayed with a mister, added some dirt soil from my backyard, threw in some kitchen scraps and covered with an old t-shirt! Will keep you updated as the compost bin matures.
